So i know that GPA and LSAT are king. I also know that history and social sciences are good general "pre-law" majors.I am a history/political science (one joint major, not double major) major and an economics minor which are both subjects I'm good at and enjoy. However, my school is very small and the history and econ departments even smaller.to put it into context, there is one professor to teach all the econ classes and 2 or 3 teaching history. long story short, scheduling is so so tight that its almost impossible for me to be able to complete my major and minor at this point, they just aren't enough courses and the times they offer conflict with each other, so i kinda want to just take electives that are interesting to me and do away with my minor to not stress.my question: will law schools look negatively upon, or at least less positively on an applicant that does not minor and has a bunch of electives instead? I am taking a completely full course load every semester so it is not like i am taking an easy way out, i am just taking classes from different subjects.
