I've gotten three emails today announcing application deadline extensions. They reference some technical problem with LSAC.org. Legitimate excuse or are these schools desperate? If there wasn't some major problem with the LSAC site, this is pretty funny. These were all sent today.
Greetings from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.
We received information from the LSAC indicating that applicants may be experiencing difficulty accessing the website used to host our on-line application. Given the timing of this problem, we are extending our application deadline from March 1st to March 5th, which should provide ample time to submit a Hastings application for the fall 2013.
Due to serious problems this week with Law School Admission Council (LSAC) websites, the University of Cincinnati College of Law has extended our Fall 2013 admission application deadline to Friday, March 8, 2013. (Previously our published deadline was March 1.)
We know that you may be considering applying to William & Mary Law School, and we wanted to give you an update, particularly if you are experiencing problems completing and submitting your application via LSAC.org.
Our deadline for applications is March 1, but we will accept applications and consider them timely if they are submitted by March 10, 2013.
