I just took the LSAT and feel pretty good about it. I'm debating whether I should drop a little money on a couple last minute apps to only the schools I would really want to go to. Is it worth it? If I get rejected and reapply next September will it matter? will that lock me into a future rejection?

You are way too late this year anyway.

Schools expect something new/different for you to apply to them again (is what I've heard), so unless you plan on doing something between now and sept, I would suggest against it unless you think you got a 180 and you're shooting for Cooley.

I don't agree. I applied to a school in late February last year, was waitlisted, sat out a year, and then was accepted this year with a verbatim application.
I don't think the OP has anything to lose by trying.

I don't agree with that dude either but I do think the OP has something to lose. Applying this late is very likely to result in rejections at schools that they could have gotten into with an earlier app or less money. If OP gets into a school that's worse than they could have gone to or with less money than they could have gotten they might be tempted to just go anyway rather than wait a year.

Pretty good thread title but not 180. The objectively best thread title is "." I always click on those

fair enough, but the deadline for the apps are due before I expect my score back. I would apply under the assumption I did slightly worse then on my practice tests.

This is why people apply in September, October, November, December, or even January.

In all seriousness, good luck with your cycle next fall.
