employers would go to Mercer in droves only if they could improve their reputation

Michigan State called me a year or so ago. Some 3L that wanted to know if I had any questions even though I never applied. I said yes, "Can I get your number? I'd like to call you later and bother you."

Wtf I didn't get a call.
