Are research publications as an undergrad notable at all?

I have two articles published in journals for psychology. One of them as a first author.
Does this mean anything? Or is it basically just another "meh" soft?

It's a soft factor. If you have a below median LSAT score, your research publications will hardly help at all. LSAT and GPA scores are the two most important factors.

It is a soft, a somewhat interesting one at that considering probably half or less of applicants have it. It would matter much more for other graduate schools though fyi.

Psych journals aren't all that hard to get published in, in general. I knew some awfully mediocre students who managed to get one through independent studies.
