LSAC non-degree-conferring institution GPA

Hey all,

I had attended a total of 3 institutions in CUNY. Starting at the community college level, I transferred to a science school before I came to the realization that law was where I want to be, thereby transferring and ending in a liberal arts college.

LSAC'S CAS asks for transcripts from degree-granting institutions. Does this mean only the final college where I expect to receive my degree, or an aggregate of all prior colleges attended?

On another note, more than a year prior to entering college as a freshman, I attended a hole in the wall by the name of New York Paralegal School. After coming to the conclusion that time spent there was utterly useless, I never even picked up my "degree" in paralegal studies. The State Education Department shut them down in 2011. Should I bother to include information on this dark chapter of my life?

Unfortunately, you have to include them all. And, I feel your pain. One community college class brought down my overall LSAC GPA .1 from what it would have been if I just submitted my degree-granting institution's transcript. Sucks, but you have to do it.

.......No.

Now your next questions should be "I have a 4.33. Should I retake a 120?" and "Can my drug dealer write my LoR if he doesn't SAY he's a drug dealer?"

He is a successful, savvy entrepeneur.
