Hello Everyone,

I sent in my applications right before Christmas. Most of my applications are complete and under review. I received my grades for this past semester, and i went up from a 3.75 to a 3.78 (4.0 this semester again ) My LSAT is on the lower end of the spectrum for each school, but my GPA is very high for most of the schools to which I applied. The big question: Will an updated transcript delay the review process for my applications? Will the adcomm push me to the back of the line again because of the new LSDAS report??

It probably depends on the school... but I agree with the above posters: probably not.

Anecdotally, I submitted an updated transcript and got in to two schools about a week after LSAC notified me that they had been sent updated reports.

You won't get "pushed back in line". Most schools view apps in the order they are received. This is the reason for submitting as early as possible.
Of course, schools can do whatever they want. Some may group apps into piles or categories based on numbers. In this case, a "delay" might be a GOOD sign. As an example, let's say your GPA was right below a school's floor. They might put you in the reject pile. Let's say they receive an updated transcript before they reject you, and now your GPA is above their floor. This could cause you to be put back into the "consider" pile.
I am not saying things are always this black and white, but sometimes no news is good news, since it means they are still considering you, rather than just rejecting you.
