Just Received the Duke Priority Track

Did this happen to anyone else? I received an email yesterday inviting me to apply via the priority track at Duke. I thought this was only done in the beginning of the application period? I found it strange that they would do this so late.

FWIW, I received an email entitled "Duke Law Fee Waiver and Accelerated Early Decision" on Friday (1/11).
The fee waiver is unsurprising, but the accelerated early decision info caught me by surprise because their early decision deadline for Round 2 was 1/7/13. All I could say was, "not sure if serious"
I think they might be trollin' me...

I got this too. I didn't think I was competitive but it maybe schools are getting worried this late in the cycle with apps down. 3.9/167

I got one as well. Signed up for it... why the hell not? Non binding... I'll take a 10 day response any day.

That was my thinking. I'm still waiting to hear back from Penn ED but I figured its a good backup. And wert, my stats are 3.5 170. Definitely competitive but not spectacular.

I got this email minutes after applying to Duke last week. There's no harm in it, sign up.
