How Long Will Adcoms Count LSAT Scores?

I'm guessing an LSAT score from 10+ years would be considered "expired" by admissions committees, right?

But, do people know if there is a universal standard timeframe for which LSAT scores are counted? Or, do diff schools do it differently?
Thanks.

The scores are valid for 5 years. After that, LSAC won't report them, so no school that requires LSATs would be able to count them, no matter how much they might want to do so.

Some schools will ask you to retake an exam that's more than 3 years old, but that's usually only if you're borderline and they want you for some other reason, so they want you to try to get a few more points.

So, those are for good scores. Is the same equally true for bad scores?
For example, if I scored a 138 for some reason would the schools even be able to see that (if it was 5+ years old)? Is it that they can see them but cannot count them. Or taht they literally cannot even see them (and obv. can't count them).
B/c it would still kind of suck if the schools could still technically see you had a bad score 5 years ago and just not be allowed to count it. That would maybe be a stain even if you got a better score more recently that is countable.
Thanks one final time. I was just trying to clarify 100%. Thanks and peace!

Scores are removed from your account/report after 5 years.
