Do they have one? I submitted on the 7th and haven't gotten anything from them, while other schools sent me an email pretty quickly.

Yea, I did that. I guess my question is more how long does it take to get the status check email. Thanks for being a dick though

I also submitted both on the 7th. I heard back from Columbia the next day, but I have not yet heard back from NYU.

For anyone that searches this in the future, I got the status checker a week after I submitted the application

I submitted NYU and Columbia apps on 01/08 and haven't gotten a confirmation/receipt email from them or anything. I'll wait till Friday, and then contact them if I still haven't heard anything.

FWIW, my Columbia confirmation email came almost instantly but my NYU email took a couple extra days. Make sure to check your spam folder, too, fallingup.
