Changing from Pre-med to Pre-law

I'm a sophomore currently at UPenn and have realized that my interests are much better suited for law. The problem is I am a pre-med and after three semesters have finally realized that I'm just not suited for the sciences, as I thought I previously once was, my current GPA is terrible because of this. (I have done atrociously in the pre-med/science courses I have taken thus far, but have done far better in "non-premed couses"). I believe if I were to drop pre-med now and were to take all non-science/non-pre-med courses, I could bring my GPA up to a 3.1/3.2 maybe a 3.3. I believe if I were to study diligently, I could also do well on the LSAT as I am a good standardized test taker.

My question is is there any hope of me getting into a top 14 law a school? Does going to UPenn for undergrad give me any sort of boost if I were to apply to UPenn Law? Any advice?

Your best hope is UVA ED with a 170 or working for a couple of years and applying to Northwestern. You could possibly get Cornell with a 170 as well I would think.

So UPenn law is out of the question? Being an undergraduate there would give my application no boost at all?

I'm going to PM you, but for future people looking at this: you'll be fine if you raise it up to 3.2-3.3 and kill the LSAT; you can get most of the T14 (some even with $$). Penn will be hard with RD, but you can get it with ED if you get 171+.

To answer this question, no, it won't.
