hand delivered LOCI for application held?

I was held at my top choice. I wrote a short email back to thank them for the update and reiterated my interest. It was very brief. They wrote back and thanked me for my email and told me to feel free to add anything beneficial to my file. Anne Ivey said it isn't a good idea to send a LOCI if you're held since it's not technically a WL. The only thing that has changed for me since october is that I've started volunteering as a mentor in a new program (I've volunteered as a mentor a few times before). My #s are very solid for this school so I feel the held may be because I had a c&f issue and they are still evaluating that.

Is it worth hand delivering a brief LOCI updating them on my community service activities and again expressing my interest in attending? too strong to say I will attend if accepted? (I really would)

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

I would assume the reason for that is that all the files are electronic and it would thus be an extra pain in their ass to have to scan something you could have just emailed and that will never be read in physical form. Or one of the reasons, anyway.
