Write a custom-tailored PS for GULC PT? Forum

I have a BS and MS in an engineering field plus experience. I'm interested in applying to GULC PT because it will be easier to finance my education and because my numbers aren't exactly competitive for GULC FT.

My engineering background makes it very easy for me to obtain a Patent agent job at USPTO, and I'm coincidentally interested in pursuing patent prosecution after law school.

Would it be beneficial to write a tailored PS to GULC PT talking about my goals, my background and how I fit into the PT program? Or would it be self-explanatory since my current PS is about patent law anyway?

If your PS already talks about your patent law goals/background, then I would just write a short why georgetown type conclusion and incorporate it into the ps.
