Should I cancel my score?

Hello,

I was wondering how people have done on LSAT, when slightly hungover the day of the exam.

During the exam I felt fine and had energy for the whole test, but not confident in my results because of the small headache that I still had.

I was always planning to retake in Feb, so is it wise to cancle, or should I just stop being paranoid?

Anyone have a similar experience to share?

I'm going to be blunt. If you are being serious and not joking, you need to take a step back and examine your actions. If you are serious about attending law school, you don't go out and party the day before the biggest test that starts you towards your legal career.

With that said, what's done is done and you must make the best marginal decision with your current circumstances. If you feel your score is abnormally low (at least 10 points and you are sure of it) then cancel. Otherwise, being that most schools do not average scores anymore, just ride it out and see what you got.

You´re right about there being no excuse for it, but I had given up on having the chance to take the exam.

The day before, there was a mixup that stopped me from having all the documents that I needed to be admitted for the test, so as a result I was pretty upset. We went out and had a good night, but the document problem wasn´t solved until 6am in the morning. I was asleep by am and was up by 5am.

I missed an entire logic game, so I had to guess the last 5 questions; also, guessed 4 more questions on LR.

Feeling confident about the rest though.

I wouldn't cancel. Seems like if everything else went perfect, on a -10 curve you are looking at a 171.

Thanks! I will take your advice and apply again in next year´s cycle if everything goes wrong.
