It doesn't matter. Be excited and ridiculous all you want.digifly wrote:I received my first acceptance phone call the other day and I was almost too excited to communicate like a human being. I tried to convey this shock and excitement but I'm sure I sounded ridiculous nonetheless. What's the best thing to say if and when you hear that glorious "you're accepted?" I just kind of exploded and tried to control it and I think I blubbered an "amazing" and "thank you" or something like that. Any tips from the pros who've received more calls???
Remember that you are about to pay them 200K. They should be licking your anus, not the other way around.digifly wrote:I received my first acceptance phone call the other day and I was almost too excited to communicate like a human being. Bro. You're the one with the leverage. When they call and accept you, the appropriate response is "damn right. how much scholarship money?"
Edit: What DF said.
