Not sure about you guys, but I'm still sitting on 1/16, with the deferral message still up. I have a feeling I will be there for some time...

They are saving us for the secret full-ride deferral survivor scholarships.T20hopeful89 wrote:Seems like more decisions are going out...but not ours =(
At least that's what I keep telling myself.

At the rate that Cornell and NU are moving, I kind of feel like I might die of old age before hearing back from them. This is pretty unfortunate for us. Anyone else in the same boat?

Yup, still waiting on both, so I can definitely commiserate with you. They're the only two I have left at this point and they are my top two choices (though both reaches).T20hopeful89 wrote:At the rate that Cornell and NU are moving, I kind of feel like I might die of old age before hearing back from them. I still have a couple of schools that I have heard nothing from other than NU, but they are my serious reaches (aka cls and chicago). It would be pretty helpful if NU and Cornell stopped the torture.
Sometimes I wish I could be a fly on the wall in these admissions offices just to see how they do this process - oh, this person's favorite color is pink, let's give him/her a decision today, but because this person likes blue, let's make him/her wait longer (even though we know what the decision is).

I think we're looking at the end of the month for the next wave (earliest). That's what it looks like happened last year and they seem to be even slower this year (as if that's possible), so might be a longer wait =/

Re: Deferred at Cornell (2012 EA Applicants)
I don't really understand why they're waiting to get back to us, but continue to get back to RD kids. I am definitely feeling that applying EA was a terrible choice.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
