I was curious how I would place in law school admissions with my current stats if I attended law school 10-12 years ago. I ran across this website that listed several law schools. It's amazing to me how much more difficult it is to get into the schools listed now than just 12 years ago.

Stats are slightly skewed because they averaged lsat scores.

That's really interesting to see. Although as coldweather noted, the fact that they averaged LSAT scores probably has a fairly big impact. And then add that to the trend for academic institutions to get more selective over time, and it's not all that surprising.

Seeing what the tuition was back then is incredibly depressing.

The point about averaging is a good one however weren't lsat scores generally higher back then?

I would assume they'd generally be higher now given the easier accessibility of test prep (presumably more companies, growth of internet, etc)

yeah I can't even imagine studying for the LSAT without all the tools that would be (likely) unavailable in 1999
