How much, if any, do you think rising tuition costs are offset by increased scholarship awards? I've seen comparisons of cost of law schools over the years, but not sure if this takes into account scholarship money awarded. Does scholarship spending by a school figure into expenditure per student for U.S. news? I have never had a reason to ask older attorneys about scholarship awards so I have no idea if they were very common, as they seem to be now, or if they were for as large a portion of the tuition bill.

You also have to take into account that a large amount of the money received from increased tuition will be offset by the decreased class sizes (in an effort to protect medians) occurring in most T1 schools.
