In my personal statement, for example, I said I had been working at the age of 15. This was mostly under the table work, nothing serious. In the employment section of the application, I described my work experience starting from my first real job at the age of 17/18. Will this raise any eyebrows?

They probably won't notice. They need to read thousands of apps, so it'll be rather quickly.
If they happen to notice, they probably won't give a shit about a minor or understandable discrepancy.
Now if you claimed to have started your own company, and that's missing from your resume it'd be more suspicious
