I tried searching to see if this was asked already but I wasn't sure.
I've been very active in partisan organizations at school. Treasurer and then President here on campus, Treasurer then Executive Director at the college state level, and then a lot of campaign experience at various levels.
Do I need to exclude it from my applications because it's controversial and could offend the adcoms or do they take these things lightly because so many people are politically active?

Think the general consensus (this is coming from viewing law school student sections on this site with people applying to post law school jobs and the certain politically motivated clubs they were in while in law school) is that it is ok but obviously you have to show you are open minded to other peoples views.

Thank you!
That was my general assumption, but I wanted to make sure I wasn't just being optimistic.

A president or something is an advantage in Law School application so don't omit that. I don't think law schools admission officers are that narrow-minded as to reject you for your political belief as long as you are believing something that isn't against humanity like fascism.
