Applicant Pool Data and Requesting Fee Wavers

Hello, I have a few questions:
First, where can I find statistical data about applicant pools, especially size (including past pools)? Especially, where can I find projections of this year's expected applicant pool size, LSAT breakdown, GPA breakdown, etc.? I understand both TLSers and admissions officers expect this year to be the best for applicants. Where can I find the data that backs up their predictions?
Second, how/when should I request fee waivers? Should I wait for automatic fee waivers (will I even get them automatically--4.0/173?)? Do Chicago and NYU give waivers automatically?
Thanks.

It will be hard to tell how many people are applying w/o knowing how many sat for the LSAT in October. And how many take in December. You shouldn't be too worried, though.
As for fee waivers, you can send admissions an e-mail if you haven't rec'd any.

Does anyone have that link to the page on LSAC.org where they say how many takers there was for each test offering? My google searches failed me.

Edit: scooped. Not too much info for this cycle though.
This is probably helpful too:
