GPA Addendum Q

Heya, gonna flood this forum for the next few days most likely, but what can I do. Anyway, I have a GPA addendum, and want to know how awful it sounds.

During my freshman year of college in 2003-2004 my GPA was 2.17. Throughout that year I was dealing with coming to terms with being away from my abusive mother for the first time. I did not seek a therapist, and as a result I handled the freedom poorly, which led to my low GPA. I feel that the GPA from the last three years of my undergrad, which is a 3.8 from 2009 to present, is far more indicative of my academic potential than my first year.

Does that work? Or is it not addendum worthy?

It does work and it's addendum-worthy, but as I'm sure you know it'll only help so much toward mitigating your gpa. Best of luck with that, Noodley; I've enjoyed your posts thus far

Oh yeah, I'm not counting on this except for helping me on the fringes.
