Off-campus Northwestern interview dress code

Post by guinness1547 » Wed Oct 17, 2012 11:49 pm

So I have an interview off-campus, but I'm not entirely sure what kind of dress code I should be following. I've read a few past posts on the matter, but I'd like some more opinions.

Details: It's in the morning. It's during the week. It's at a coffee shop. The coffee shop is in his building of work.

The coffee shop atmosphere makes it seem less formal, but that fact that it is in his building, during the work day makes it seem to me more formal.

Unless I get significant opinions otherwise, I plan to dress in a suit just to be safe.

Thanks in advance!

If you have a suit, just wear the suit. He's not going to mark you down for taking it seriously.
