I have asked for a recommendation letter from my former employer. He was my direct supervisor and he was quite impressed with my work. So I think he would give me a good recommendation.
He has never written a reference letter for academic purposes. He is close to 60 and is not very proficient at internet surfing etc. So, he has asked me for a couple of samples letters to use as a starting point. He wants to get an idea of the format, template, length, and the kind of stuff that he should include.
I have looked online and could not find any good samples. Can someone point me in the right direction? Any help would be appreciated!

Re: Sample letter of recommendation
I've written likely over 100. You seem like a sharp person, I'll write you one.
