So, I know law school acceptance is mainly a numbers game, and OCI depends (at least somewhat) on grades, but I'm wondering what would best prepare me for Biglaw. Obviously, investment banking or Private Equity would be great additions...but here's my situation
PROS:
-Good GPA: (3.9)
-Legal Internship last summer (with a Judge)
CONS
-Majoring in general business and a humanity (no Finance or Accounting focus, which locks me out of PE and IB)
-Non-relevant, non-sales part-time work through undergrad
I'm kinda sick of my job at the moment, and want to explore the Junior year internships on the business side (after having a Law internship last summer). Both for the 1) money (fulltime work; law internship was unpaid) and 2) the possibility of a job offer after to work a little bit after UG before Law school.
My questions are:
-Where do I apply for internships as a soft science/humanities to get any business-y experience of any repute (I know a summer isn't that much)
-How do I gun for a business internship, while spinning my goal to go to law school? ("Oh yeah, i LOVE this company! But, not really for a career. Just for a couple years, yknow.")
-Anything in the public policy area worth doing? (thinkintanks, etc)
TL;DR. Soft Science/Humanities major wondering what to do for a (paid) internship Junior year that would give me some different experience and/or possibly parlay into a good job for some WE before law school?
While law school is a numbers game, I still like to round myself out as a person. A summer won't do that. But this is the time to look around...

Intern anywhere that offers good career opportunities in a field outside of law. Who knows, maybe you'll land a killer job there right out of UG and you can avoid the casino that us poor saps have piled into.
