Putting Family Alums on Application

When a school asks you to write down any close family members who attended their school, what does "close" mean? I assume that if they wanted immediate family members they would have said so, but close seems like a pretty vague word.
Basically, every college educated person in my family (just four of us, myself included) attended NYU for all of our degrees, but two of them are uncles (who I am close to). Is this close enough to put on the application? I want to include them because one attended NYU for his BA and JD and the other attended NYU for his BS, MS, JD, and LLM.
