Taking online courses from a community college before grad?

Post by magezzz » Tue Sep 11, 2012 10:32 am

Hey there,

I was wondering if it made sense to take some "easy" online classes (accredited) from a community college during my last semester at my university, before I am awarded my BSc? And if so, how would it appear to an admissions committee?

Thanks for your thoughts.

If it will boost your GPA, why not?

Adcomms won't care as long as those classes aren't what makes up the substantial portion of your degree. Even then I'm not sure how much they would care.

I think this is the cheapest and easiest way to boost one's GPA. I'm also interested in how this is viewed.
