Is this too pushy?

I am sending a reminder email to a professor that promised to write me a letter back in May. I sent her all of the necesary materials on June 1st and reminded her on August 15th (she was abroad doing research for a book). She promised to have it written by August 25th and it has still not been received by LSAC.

Is this email too pushy, should it be more pushy or can anyone offer any other advice?

I hope all is well and that the upcoming start of the school year hasn't got you too stressed out. I would just like to remind you about the letter of recommendation and I hope that it is coming along well. If you need me to send you anymore writing samples, LSAC cover letter, information or another prepaid envelope, let me know.

Thank you very much,

bigdogmoe

I can't see a single pushy thing about that letter.

I hope all is well and that the upcoming start of the school year hasn't got you too stressed out. I would just like to remind you about the letter of recommendation we spoke about; applications come out soon.

If you need me to send you anymore writing samples, LSAC cover letter or anything else, please let me know.

I edited it to change a few things/recommend another direction, but overall I think you're good to go.

I got one LOR but I did't receive 2 LORs. I asked for LOR in May and reminded them of LORs 2-3 weeks ago and didn't get a response yet...I don't know when I should remind them again...as I don't want to piss them off

I emailed my professors once a month to remind them. They had so much going on that they would have kept putting it off until they forgot about it.

It's no big deal

Ah, I must have overlooked that as well.

It's okay. Don't sweat it.
