I still haven't received any waivers yet.
I got one from ucla, and two from TTT schools but that's all. In fact, i got emails from TT schools but not even a fee waiver.

Waiting on t14 waivers but got none. Scored mid 170s. Should i solicit? I know some are hidden but is this normal?

Be patient. They will roll in. Additionally solicit schools for waivers. I got about half of my waivers from soliciting, half from them just being given via email.

Unfortunately for me, some schools limit their CRS searches to certain dates. If your score is even a little old, that might be why you haven't heard anything. Cornell, for example, explicitly said they do not give waivers (or at least, they don't search CRS) for LSAT scores from before Feb. 2012. Given that I took the LSAT in February 2011, I'm left not knowing if my 170 just isn't high enough to merit a waiver (probable at most T10) or if I made a strategic mistake of not registering for CRS early enough to catch some waivers after I took the test.

To answer the solicitation part of your question, it seems like people have had near universal success soliciting from UVA and Georgetown, and mixed success soliciting from Michigan.

I have to disagree with this since I took the LSAT in October 2010 and received an unsolicited waiver from Cornell this cycle. Granted, I did wait until after the June test this year to register for CRS, which may explain the difference, but clearly they consider at least some old scores.

Yeah, I'm sure you're right. I guess what Cornell was actually saying to me via email was just "No, your numbers don't qualify you," and they just politely dressed it up in something official-sounding. I registered for CRS in mid-August (just a little over two weeks ago), so depending on the school, either I don't meet the cut-off or I didn't show up when they did their summer CRS searches for waivers. Thinking it's the former for the most part.

I got a app fee waiver from UB after about 2 hours after I emailed them.
