Medical School Letters of Recommendation

Post by ERube » Tue Sep 04, 2012 2:55 am

Hello,

Unfortunately I don't have any recent academic letters of recommendation to use for law school admissions.

However, I do have a few letters that I used to get into Medical School 3 years ago. Would it be wise to reuse these letters or not use any letters at all?

Thanks,
Eric

I'm with Vasa in that I don't think you should reuse the letters, as they're probably tailored for med school.

Also, I'd probably find different recommenders to write new letters. The old ones thought you were dedicating your life to medicine - it might be difficult to convince them you share the same zeal for law school, AND that the zeal will pan out, since it doesn't appear to have done so for med school.
