Stipends

Was talking to a friend over at GW, who got a full tuition scholarship as well as a stipend for housing and other expenses. Therefore chose GW over some T6's. Stipend was merit, not need, based.
How common (or exceedingly rare) is this at T-30s and up?

rare, but they do exist. i took a full ride + books + small stipend over several T14s, and i wonder if i could have gotten an even bigger stipend (mine is set by the scholarship that i received) if I had tried to hold out. if you have good numbers you are very valuable to schools (USNWR), and can leverage the situation.

UVA Law says, on their site at least, that they sometimes give out full-rides (tuition, fees, plus $20k stipend for living expenses). That would be
very hard to turn down for a school like UVA.

3.7/170 and I have some unusually good work experience prior to LS. But I think if you have these type of numbers and you're straight out of undergrad you would probably get the same deal.

Holy shit do you think that 20K is over three years or yearly?
