+1. I got waivers from some T14s that outright rejected me. Others refused to give me a waiver and then admitted me w money. Don't attach any meaning to fee waivers

I didn't pay much attention to the waiver letters at first, but then I realized that several of them from T14 schools had hand-written messages on the last page beneath the signature stating things like "Impressive GPA at (my undergrad school's name)!! We look forward to your application!" It just seems like if the letters didn't carry any weight, then the deans of admissions wouldn't waste the time to hand write things on them. I suppose I read a little too into it....
It is not "waste the time to do something". They encourage more applicants to apply for their law schools and reject them so that their acceptance rate is low(which is beneficial to the U.S. News Ranking, I believe) given the limited number of seats. :mrgreen:
