Are you sure this is true? I had just emailed them last week and the response (posted above) was that they only did them through CRS and it would show up in the application. Was I just politely, though indirectly being told that I wouldn't be getting one?soj wrote:BTW even if you don't get the pamphlet and the handwritten note, you can still email and ask for a fee waiver.

Definitely a real hand written note from Dean Z - just another example of why UMich is so great!
I got an LSAC waiver for this year, and on Mich's fee waiver app, they basically ask you to attach a copy of the LSAC waiver approval and e-mail it in. It would be nice of them to make it automatic, but alas. I understand their need to limit waivers.soccer88 wrote:So has anyone had any success soliciting a fee waiver from UM?
