Ive been working on my why x school essays. I feel like they are pretty boring, just writing about the programs Im interested in. How do you spice them up?
Do more research into the school's programs. Without being annoying, get in touch with current students and professors.
Write about the location and family connections to the area.
When all else fails, discuss collegiality, "not being treated as a number," interdisciplinary studies, practical training, and approachable professors. Every school thinks they have a monopoly on these things.
