It really depends on the school, what school do you want to know? Bear in mind that high gpa's are dime-a-dozen, below median lsat hurts, especially that low.
Below median lsat by 1 point hurts the same as a below median lsat by 43 points. Not sure if I understand what you mean.

Technically, but not in a practical sense. Look at LSN

No school wants anyone who is below their median by 43 points.

Duke, ED.
If your above 3.87 (new UVA GPA median) and a 165, just ED UVA. I don't see Duke dipping that low, but why are you not retaking?

But let's take this to PM to not clutter up the thread.

Just clicking around the internet--this thread is missing a bunch...

Pepperdine, Florida, Florida State, Lewis & CLark, Iowa, UGA, Indiana Bloomington--have to work today (darn labor day) but can post later if people don't find updates on web.

Feel like that's a huge hit but I don't know their numbers from last year.

Wow,that is a huge hit! 160 was FSU's 25th percentile score last year, this year it's their median. I like it.

They don't matter for usnews ranking, but they do matter for leiters ranking and for pride. I know for me, I laugh at schools like UMN that has like 157 25th, 167 median and 75th. Anyone educated on the law school game can immediately tell that UMN is unabashedly gaming the magazine rankings. I have fears my school will begin to do the same thing actually. It's embarrassing, and completely contrary to everything that the admissions office states.
I go to UMN and dont mind their gaming. With a few exceptions, you either have to have a 3.8+ or a 167+ to get in. Not really an embarrassing standard.

What does this mean the medians are? Is 50th percentile the same as median? (Probably a dumb question)

People were joking about the impact of their rankings jump, saying that employers would flock to ASU to hire students because of it.

ASU jumped from #55 in 2009 to #38 in 2010, then took a little break in 2011 (#40), and managed to pull off yet another huge jump this year to #26!
