This charge, Operating a Motor Vehicle While Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs was made based on evidence discovered at the scene of the car collision described above. It represents a spectacular lapse in good judgment. I had spent the day celebrating with friends and did not carefully consider the implications and dangers of my driving home. Drugs were not involved. Since this time, I have modified my life choices and do not intend to repeat this egregious error.

Given that I do not have any priors, would a misdemeanor conviction prevent admission? If not, how should it be explained on an application? Thanks for the feedback in advance.
