This is a few years old, but I think it still takes the cake:

The school offering a free iTunes gift card with application (I think it was U Alabama?) was pretty tacky as well.
Any others?

Lol no, the free iTunes were awesome.
Tex Wes uses clip art to make flyers a small child could make.

Great use of clipart. I can see where the 27k/year is going.

This would be better if the tshirt read, "I survived 1L year and all I got was this lousy tshirt," no?

Candy Kallen from Phoenix Law sends her love to all of us. She has a nice duck-face too.
Edit: that pic was way too big

The graphics were fine on this email, however, I was really struck by the promise of teaching me "real life lawyering skills"

how is a free iTunes card to offset the LSAC's bullshit send-scores fee tacky?

WVU sent me an email asking me to apply with a fee waiver. After they rejected me. I was 6 points above their median and my GPA was .2 above median.
There were also a couple of schools that detailed the transfer process in their rejection letter (TT's). Case Western did that after rejecting me over the phone, and told me they would love to see my application next year. No class.

Rutgers takes the cake. I just got accepted. I never applied! I was pre-accepted with an 18k scholly lol. You couldn't PAY ME enough to go to Rutgers, or live in Camden

Seconded. That was awesome... not tacky. OP is just jealous that I'm listening to my sweet tunes for free.

Not exactly a sales pitch or necessarily "tacky", but I didn't like that Alabama had a top 40% stip for schollys. They're the highest ranked school I know of that has such a strict requirement. Or should I say requiremenTTT?

Ugh Iowas stips are the worsttt. Half my family lives there and I would have seriously considered atttending if there wasnt a tttop ttthird stttip.

I went there for UG. Whenever they call/email me to donate, I tell them I won't be because of this TTT behavior by the law school.

those stips were negotiable, btw.
