You could very easily get 60-90K at Chicago or NYU, maybe with some negotiating. I'd predict you'd get something at Columbia, too. If you want to be a lawyer it's silly just to count on Stanford. On pure numbers you probably have a better change of getting into Harvard just 'cause the class size is so much bigger.

You'd be in the running for huge scholarships at any of the other T-14's, up to and including full rides. T6 is kind of a meaningless distinction really.

Tell that to a biglaw recruiter. Grade cutoffs get more strict as you go down peer groups in the rankings.
Yes, I think CCN have some advantages. The way OP framed their post suggests he/she thinks Columbia is worth attending while UPenn is not. That's a reaaallly questionable thing to believe.

You will get fee waivers for all the T14 except HYS and Boalt. You should be a shoe in for a T14 full ride somewhere and probably some decent T6 offers. I would just apply and see what happens. There aren't that many people with your numbers and I think you probably at least have H in the bag.

Apply to NYU's named scholarships.

Agree with others that your LSAT is not too low to get $$ from T6 given your high GPA. Do want to clear something up though: all three of Yale, Harvard, and Stanford give out need-based aid. It sounded like you think that is unique to Stanford, but it's not.

I looked at the Ruby from Chicago, and it seems that the program may end after this application cycle. Chicago focuses on the highest LSAT score, so it would be in my best interest to retake the LSAT in October or December. However, I have a few questions about retaking.

1. Is retaking the LSAT in December too late to submit an application to Chicago?

2. If I retake the LSAT but score lower, how will this affect my chances of getting scholarships at other T14 schools?

Thanks for all your help.

For 1--Not an expert on it, but I wouldn't think so. Chicago didn't start giving out decisions till January/February I think. You could just send in an app with your current score and send them your score in December if you improve.

For 2.--there's not a lot of examples of people who did worse on a 2nd try on TLS. Of the ones I've seen they didn't seem to be hurt by it much, if at all. If you got a 170 you could just forget about it. If you bombed it you might have to write an addendum, but even then I don't think it will hurt you.

Woah. Has anyone else heard that the Ruby is going to be discontinued? Any credence to that?

I read last year that c/o 2016 is the last class getting it, but they might've extended it since then.

Rubenstein gave them $10 million, which was enough for three years of the program. Unless there's been something to extend it, it should be done after this cycle.

And does Columbia average when it considers people for the Hamilton? People on TLS say that for admission, CLS cares most about the highest score, but I do not know if it is the same for the Hamilton scholarship.

December LSAT is too late for so-so numbers, but with your numbers that shouldn't be a problem. Scholarships are handed out later on so I don't think it would necessarily be a terrible idea to retake in December (obviously Oct would be better considering you have to ask the question)
