Is BigLaw work ... boring?

Many people, particularly people in finance, advise others against going to law school, not only because of the bad shape of the legal market or the debt accumulation, but also because a career in corporate law is 'boring' when compared to, say, ibanking and finance. And when you are working so many hours, its definitely better to be doing more interesting work.
I haven't had success in trying to shadow a corporate lawyer yet, so hopefully anyone who is working/ has worked in BigLaw can share their opinion about this?
