Power Score LR and AR bibles for the basics. Then read Manhattan for a more refined and sophisticated approach.

You talkin about the Manhattan LR book? What makes it more sophisticated than the LRB? I'm not sure how much you can teach past what students should be looking for in right/wrong answer and identifying question types.

PSB keeps it basic and simple. Manhattan is written by 99th percentile test takers, and tailored specifically for test takers already scoring relativity well. Its hard for me to describe, but after reading a few pages of the Manhattan guides, it is clear that it is written at a higher reading level and is intended to cultivate a higher level of thought than the PSBs
Here are the reviews (admittedly, some may have been written by Manhattan themselves),

I would still suggest reading both. PSB to get ones feet wet. Manhattan to crystallize the concepts.

This is a free sample test from LSAC. The curve if tighter than recent tests have been (-8 for a 170).
http://www.lsac.org/jd/pdfs/SamplePTJune.pdf
You can buy PT bundles of 10 for about 20 dollars. The 2 most recent ones are 29-38 and 52-61. 62,63,64,65, and soon to be 66 can all be bought individually for $8 a piece.
