I am writing a deferal request and was hoping to know what you guys consider the best reason to defer or at least in the eyes of a commitee.
What situations in the past have allowed you guys to defer?

I originally deferred to work a year in a boutique (shitty) Los Angeles real estate litigation firm. Job was highly unimpressive. As long as you're not picking your nose for a year, they'll grant your deferral.
