Need critique for my plan

Hello all
I plan on taking the June 2013 LSAT and applying to law school early for fall 2014 admission.
I need three more semesters of undergraduate coursework for my bachelor's in philosophy.
I am trying to stategicially place these three remaining semesters in four remaining opportunities, Fall 2012, Spring 2013, Fall 2013 and Spring 2014.
The issues: My GPA is low for t14, 3.4, however, I have very little difficult coursework left and many Gen Eds and electives to take. Point being, I can raise my GPA back up to a 3.55 before graduation, moreover, I need a study period for the June LSAT to be a successful splitter.
If I apply to law school early, and only have two semesters done, I may not be at my comfortable GPA and if I have three semesters done before I apply, I will have not had free months to study for the LSAT.
This is sort of a catch-22, I am leaning towards taking off Spring 2013 for the June 2013 LSAT, I would just like some critique as I map out my plan
Also, my softs are below average. Dean's list three times and honors. (does this even count?) Boy scouts for 14 years, hundred hours of volunteering at a hospital, off the books work experience, though, not sure if that would count as experience at all. In my two years until law school, what are some easy softs? I am willing to devote as much time as neccesary. Any advice?
Thank you
