In general, how detrimental is taking a second LSAT to your?
Application? Say you take the June test and score a 158 and take the October test and score a 170 - considering most schools will take the 170, how does having the 158 on your application affect you? I assume that the only way it would hurt one's chances is if someone else were to have a similar application (hard/softs relatively equal in strength) but the only difference being is that they scored a 170 on their first try.

It might be a tiebreaker, but that's it.

Almost all schools consider your highest score. Thats what matters for USNWR, so thats what matters to adcomms.
