Top Law Schools

I know there are probably numerous forums on this question. Due to serious health issues, I suffered academically my freshman year of college. I have 3.6 cumulative gpa including that year and around a 3.9 if it were overlooked. With an addendum what are the odds law schools would overlook those semesters?

Schools won't overlook those semesters because no matter what, they'll have to report your LSAC GPA. But you still have to write the addendum. Otherwise schools will wonder what happened your first year and medical illness is a much more flattering explanation than most alternatives.
