If all that you could get into is Lewis and Clark then, yeah, that's not a good option. And also, if all you could into is Lewis and Clark what makes you think you could go to LSE

With a 3.8 Ivy, why not just apply to consulting jobs right now?

Consulting firms recruit at Ivies. Just take your resume to career services and they'll walk you through the process.

An unnecessary master's at LSE (with tuition + London COL) is better than law school? Maybe if the law school is Lewis and Clark at sticker, but not if the OP retakes and reapplies.

I can't tell whether OP has taken the LSAT yet. If not, you are selling yourself short assuming L&C with a 3.8.

That said, if you already think it isn't worth it, you are right to consider other options. You're in undergrad now? Try your hand at your other options for a few years and go from there. The LSAT and law school will still be there.

Why economic history? That just doesn't sound very useful for getting a job. And why L&C? With a 3.8 and Ivy you should study hard and keep taking the LSAT until you crack at least 168 or so, which should get you into the T14.

I don't think OP took the LSAT yet. Why not try first before saying it's not worth it? I was in your position 2 years ago and I wish I had just put my full effort into it back then. It only takes a few months if you put 100% into it.
