Worth trying UVA ED?

Post by Impending1L » Sat Mar 10, 2012 12:31 pm

Is it even worth throwing UVA an ED application with a 3.53/164 for a non-URM?

Conventional wisdom based on prior cycles suggests that your GPA is too low to get admitted ED at Virginia.

If it is where you really want to go, it cannot hurt to ED (they have a quick turnaround time and you could always ED to a different school afterwards if needed).

However, your chances at acceptance are really low unfortunately. If you could retake and get a 170+ on the LSAT, then UVA would be a more realistic option.

You are above neither the LSAT nor the GPA median so would be an automatic ding.
