William & Mary, Emory (with 60k), or French Foreign Legion?
These are my options William & Mary (Sticker) University of Washington (Sticker) Emory (60k) or French Foreign legion
But seriously what do you think? Seattle sounds the most appealing of the places to live, but W & M seems to have a bit better rep. I have GI benefits good for two more years, so add that with the 60k Emory offered and I would come out with little debt, but I hate the Braves. Thanks for the input. Cheers.

Is French Foreign Legion a real choice?

Legion?
John Beckwith: Yeah, we lost a lot of good men out there.

It's an awfully good pick up line...just saying.

I think its a flame (but props for being creative). If not, depends on where you want to practice law. If VA, then its W&M. If Seattle, then UW. If the South, then Emory. If none of the above, enjoy the FFL.

Its no flame, and yea the FFL is a joke (kinda). I am from California, so all of these schools are in foreign territory for me (I am wait-listed at UCLA and haven't heard from USC yet). Emory (with 60k) is tempting, but its ranking fluctuates, Vault has it 23, while others have it 30. I can rationalize Univ. Washington because there would be little employment competition in the Northwest, right? How many t14 grads move home to Tacoma? I feel like W&M grads have to go up against people coming out of UVA, G-Town, GW, Duke, etc. Am I wrong?

Attending UW right now (as an undergrad), I think this is pretty interesting that you mentioned my hometown of Tacoma!
And I bet almost no T-14 grads go to Tacoma, it is not really seen as a very desireable location and sometimes seen as the least desireable place in the Northwest actually. But Tacoma is a decent size city and very affordable so I assume it has plenty of midlaw jobs.
But anyhow UW is definately the powerhouse of the entire pudget sound. While Seattle U pumps out more than twice as many grads, they are not looked at in the same caliber as UW law grads. And a large majority of the students who attend UW from out of state are from California (law school and undergrad) and being in the Pac-12 I think it would be easier for you to get home to California if you prefered to do so.

If you are open to relocation, then go with the least debt. Total COA for each school after scholarship & GI benefits would help. Otherwise, pursue UCLA.

I knew that this was a troll because the options were W&M and Emory with 60k
Seriously. If you could have gotten into the French Foreign Legion your options would be closer to Yale with full grant and Harvard with a fast track to professorship.
The French Foreign Legion is one of the very few elite military units not in the United States.
