LSAC Application

So I've been admitted to 4+ schools now but I went back to look at my applications. There is an error with the end date of my employment for my ex employer. instead of 2007 it shows 2008. My current employer shows the correct employment start date. I'm employed FT as I've been for the past 7 years and received my BA while working. Should I email them all to let them know that there was an error on the application even though it's obvious that I quit one job and moved to the other in the same month? It's even written on the explanation why I left the old job. I have not had any time off from either.

I sent all schools the supplement resume which shows my work experience. Do I still need to email each one to say my resume is correct but the end date on the application is wrong even though it's clear that I've quit one job for the other.

You might as well. I doubt it's affecting your cycle, and wouldn't be surprised if they didn't even notice, but you might as well make sure your dates are all accurate in your record so that the discrepancy doesn't come up later on (at C+F time for the bar, for instance). Just state calmly that you mistakenly entered an incorrect date of X for your job with Y Company in the LSAC application form, and that the start and end dates on your included resume are correct. Add a sentence of apology for any inconvenience. The whole thing should be about 3 sentences long.

I'd say it's worth it to give them an update. It can't hurt you.

I sent in quite a few supplemental essays attached to e-mails after submitting my applications and the schools were all willing to accept them. I realize that we're not talking about the exact same situation, but I don't see there being any negative consequence of you sending in an update.

Thanks everyone I'll do that. How should I respond to the schools that have already accepted me? Should it be the same letter (also I have not made a decision)?

Yes. You're just notifying them to make a minor correction in your record.
