Can the June test be used for $$ negotiations and WL

I have heard of students getting off of the wait-list in late July, so could the June LSAT actually be of some significance here? Also, if someone scores higher on the June test can they use this as leverage to get more $$, or are all the funds allocated by then? I will likely sit for the June LSAT just to make sure that taking a year off wouldn't have any benefit, so if it may contribute to the same cycle that would be great.

It's happened, but I would bet it definitely varies school to school (maybe even year to year as well) so there's no guarantee it will happen for you.

Yes, you can use the results of the test to negotiate more scholarship money. This, of course, depends on the school and a higher LSAT score.
I don't know for sure about the waitlist thing.

Im gonna be doing this too. But if you raise your score a significant amount-I think this can vary depending on the score you originally have-I would sit out another year.
I have a 170, and if I raise it more than one point I will be sitting this year out.

Thanks for the perspective Reynolds, i have a 166 and if i can raise that a few points, which i may, then i might sit out as well

What are you guys doing if you decide to sit out? (I'm trying to negotiate $$, wishful thinking - i know..)
any specific jobs or activities?

I am an accounting major with a minor in business, so something in management or accounting. Honestly i would prefer management, but money does talk.

Unless you publish a book or cure cancer, I just think maintaining gainful employment is all you need. If you can raise your score while also staying employed, maybe volunteering somewhere if you're a little ambitious, it can only help your prospects. I was definitely ready to start law school this year but I am starting to value more and more the idea of being very comfortable with your financial situation while in school. I really don't want the fear of getting no-offered to be the driving force behind my studying. And I would love to be able to take a job in the government or public sector without a lot of added stress.
