I am a recently licensed California attorney with some experience. I went to a tier one law school. I am offering $3K, or first months' salary, whichever is greater, to anyone who helps me land a job as an attorney in Southern California. Please respond by e-mail to discuss further.

If you're focused on which specific school it is, then I think you're missing the point. All but the very top schools are good investments right now. Even at a top 20 school, your odds of getting a decent job are no better than a coin flip for most people. And there are significant numbers of people at T14 schools struggling as well. The profession really is in horrendous condition. The current people in charge of running our profession have failed all of us to let things get to this point.

The OP is anecdotal at best and scaremongering. The T1 graduate could have graduated last in her class for all we know. The profession might be in dire straits, but for this particular post to elicit "the sky is falling" reactions has been comical.
